Writing in Time, Cathy Young notices something interesting in the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention figures on rape: Women rape a lot more than people think..
If the CDC figures are to be taken at face value, then we must also conclude that, far from being a product of patriarchal violence against women, " rape culture " is a two-way street, with plenty of female perpetrators and male victims.
How could that be? After all, very few men in the CDC study were classified as victims of rape: 1.7% in their lifetime, and too few for a reliable estimate in the past year. But these numbers refer only to men who have been forced into anal sex or made to perform oral sex on another male. Nearly 7% of men, however, reported that at some point in their lives, they were "made to penetrate" another person — usually in reference to vaginal intercourse, receiving oral sex, or performing oral sex on a woman. This was not classified as rape, but as "other sexual violence." And now the real surprise: when asked about experiences in the last 12 months, men reported being "made to penetrate" — either by physical force or due to intoxication — at virtually the same rates as women reported rape (both 1.1% in 2010, and 1.7% and 1.6% respectively in 2011).
In short, men are raped by women at nearly the same rate women are raped by men.
According to a recent study from the University of Missouri, published by the American Psychological Association, male victims of sexual assault are often victimized by women: "A total of 43% of high school boys and young college men reported they had an unwanted sexual experience and of those, 95% said a female acquaintance was the aggressor, according to a study published online in the APA journal Psychology of Men and Masculinity."
This shouldn't be so surprising. Back in the old days, when talk of "rape" or "sexual assault" generally meant forcible penetration at the hands of a stranger, rape was unsurprisingly pretty much a male-committed crime.
But feminists pushed for a broader definition of rape, going beyond what Susan Estrich, in a very influential book, derisively called Real Rape, to encompass other forms of sexual coercion and intimidation. And so now the term "rape" as it is commonly used encompasses things like "date rape," sex while a partner is intoxicated, sex without prior verbal consent and even — at Ohio State University, at least — sex where both partners consent, but for different reasons.
Unsurprisingly, when the definition of rape — or, as it's often now called in order to provide less clarity, "sexual assault" — expands to include a lot more than behavior distinguished by superior physical strength, the incidence of rape goes up, and behavior engaged in by women is more likely to be included in the definition. (At juvenile detention centers nine out of 10 reporters of sexual assault are males victimized by female staffers.)
Thus, as Young points out, the CDC finds that men make up over a third of the victims of "sexual coercion," which can include such things as "lies or false promises, threats to end a relationship or spread negative gossip, or 'making repeated requests' for sex and expressing unhappiness at being turned down."
Students and staff protest against sexual violence.
Critics tend to dismiss these as trivial, suggesting that the men involved should just "man up." But, of course, there's no reason to think that such coercion is any more trivial where men are concerned than where women are concerned, unless you believe that women are such fragile flowers that they cannot possibly withstand things that men are supposed to ignore.
It will be interesting to see how college disciplinary boards handle this. If, in light of the data, women exhibit a similar predilection for sexual misbehavior to men, then surely the colleges should be punishing roughly as many women as men for such conduct. If they are not, the only possible explanation is some form of institutional sexism. That should be good news for Title IX attorneys, at any rate.
Finally, all this talk of rape on campus must be making college enrollment officers — already having trouble filling seats — even more nervous. Telling female students that they have a one-in-five chance of being raped (even if it's not true) isn't going to make them, or their parents, more likely to spend six-figure sums sending them to college. It might even push them toward online alternatives, as a YouTube parody video suggests.
With rape rates actually falling sharply, the current moral panic over campus rape seems more like political agitprop and mass hysteria than anything else. Like all such, this, too, will pass. But it will also do damage along the way. May reason assert itself sooner, rather than later.

My thoughts on pro-masculism and anti-feminism. Some thoughts may mirror what others have said while others are uniquely mine but either way they are legitimate.

Knock him out,Donald
Vice President Joe Biden said last week that he wishes he were in high school and could take Donald Trump “behind the gym,” in a response to the groping allegations against the GOP nominee.
Trump said Tuesday that he would “love that.”
“Did you see where Biden wants to take me to the the back of the barn? Me. I’d love that,” the Republican nominee said at a rally in Tallahassee, Fla. “Mr. Tough Guy. You know, he’s Mr. Tough Guy. You know when he’s Mr. Tough Guy? When he’s standing behind a microphone by himself. … Some things in life you could really love doing.”
At a rally for Hillary Clinton in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., on Friday, Biden said Trump’s “disgusting assertion” that he could kiss and touch women without their consent — caught on a hot mic in a recently unearthed, explosive 2005 video — was “the textbook definition of sexual assault.”
“The press always ask me, ‘Don’t I wish I were debating him?’ No, I wish we were in high school — I could take him behind the gym,” Biden said. “That’s what I wish.”
On Monday, the 73-year-old clarified his remarks, saying he would’ve wanted to fight Trump in high school, but not now.
“If I were in high school,” Biden said. “I want to make it clear I understand what assault is. I’m not in high school. If I were in high school.”
Trump, 70, has made no such distinction with other people he’s seen as his political foes.
Earlier this year, Trump said he wanted to punch a protester who was being escorted from one of his events in the face.
“There’s a guy, totally disruptive, throwing punches — we’re not allowed to punch back anymore,” Trump said at a February rally in Las Vegas. “I love the old days. You know what they used to do to guys like that when they were in a place like this? They’d be carried out on a stretcher.”
He added: “I’d like to punch him in the face.”
And in 2014 interviews recorded by a biographer and published by the New York Times Tuesday, the brash real estate mogul recalled his love of fighting as a child.
“I was a very rebellious kind of person,” Trump said. “I loved to fight. I always loved to fight.”
“Physical fights?” the interviewer asked.
“Yeah, all kinds of fights, physical,” he replied. “All types of fights. Any kind of fight, I loved it, including physical.”

Kick his ass,Donald. I'm tired of that bitch Biden. He thinks he's so tough. When Trump called him on his shit Biden punked with "not now but in high school". Guess what, genius you didn't say this back in high school you said this a few days ago. Biden is a punk just like Obama is and Trump called him on it. Biden thinks he is so tough because he has Secret Service protection. But he forgot Trump also has Secret Service protection. That is why the little bitch backtracked. Fuck Biden. Go Trump 2016.
Not only that but Biden is worse than Trump. Trump has never molested a child while Biden has. Check it out.

Hillary's camp has gone too far
From Stop Hillary PAC:
I wish I didn't have to write this letter. But I do.
Last week I received a voice mail that I immediately turned over to local and federal authorities -- including the FBI.
You see, because of my high profile campaign against Hillary Clinton -- Hillary's supporters are fighting back and I have become public enemy #1.
And now they have gone too far.
In a profanity filled voicemail, one of Hillary Clinton's supporters from New York has personally threatened me.
I can't even repeat the threats in this email it was so disgustingly evil. I have turned the voicemail over to the Capitol Police, State Patrol and the FBI.
I don't know where else to turn... so I'm turning to you.
I helped found Stop Hillary PAC for one reason -- to prevent Hillary Clinton from becoming President of the United States. So far, the response has been overwhelming. Tens of thousands of you have pledged to do whatever it takes to defeat Hillary. Our web video has been featured by CNN, CBS, Politico and other national news outlets and has tens of thousands of views on YouTube. Our momentum is building and I couldn't be more optimistic about fighting Hillary every step of the way.
What I didn't count on was the vitriol, personal threats and vile objections from her supporters. The emails from her supporters have been nasty. But threatening me and my family has gone too far.
The only way I know to fight back is to build an army of Americans to fight Hillary Clinton -- and her despicable supporters -- at every turn.
But I can't do it alone -- will you stand with me today?
If you agree that nobody should be personally threatened just because they oppose Hillary Clinton then I'm asking you to sign my petition insisting that Hillary denounce her supporters' threats and publicly apologize immediately.
And while I can't even repeat the disgusting, evil threats that were made against me -- I will play the voice mail for Hillary if she will listen. If Hillary Clinton has one ounce of decency she will immediately denounce this threat and openly and publicly apologize.
Will you stand with me in calling on Hillary to apologize today?
A public apology and rebuke of this vile human being by Hillary Clinton might be the only thing that will discourage this type of behavior in the future -- and I pray it will stop this individual in his tracks.
If you will stand with me please click here to sign the petition insisting that Hillary Clinton publicly apologize immediately and denounce this attack immediately.
If enough of you will stand with me, I will have our attorneys deliver your signed petitions directly to Hillary Clinton.
One more thing -- will you chip in $25, $50 or even $100 to help fight Hillary Clinton and her disgusting supporters? If so, I will be able to distribute this petition to millions of Americans to demand a public apology from Hillary.
Please click here to sign the apology petition today.
I'm not backing down and I hope I can count on you to not back down either.
Thank you for your support and prayers.

HR 4970 cleared the House
From SAVE:
House Approves Violence Against Women Act: SAVE Applauds Long-Overdue Reform Measures
WASHINGTON / May 17, 2012 - The House of Representatives has passed the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act by a 222-205 margin. Responding to public discontent, H.R. 4970 contains a number of measures designed to curb widespread waste and fraud in the domestic violence field.
A recent U.S. News poll found a strong majority of persons are opposed to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) in its current form: here. Many women have questioned the effectiveness and fairness of the existing VAWA law:here
Reforms contained H.R. 4970 include strong accountability measures, gender-inclusive language, and provisions to stem fraudulent claims of abuse by immigrants. The current VAWA law has invited immigration fraud by not allowing the US citizen accused of abuse to submit evidence that could refute the accusation.
The White House played an active role in opposing the bill. The Obama Administration issued a Statement of Administration Policy on Tuesday stating it would veto any bill that was modeled on H.R. 4970.
During Wednesday's floor debate, sponsor Sandy Adams (R-FL) withstood numerous challenges. When informed by John Conyers (D-MI) that numerous organizations opposed her bill, she retorted, "Shame on them!"
Following passage of the bill, a number of established domestic violence organizations have reacted with anger and implied threats. The National Task Force to End Sexual and Domestic Violence Against Women called the bill "dangerous." The National Organization for Women charged that Representatives who voted for the bill "will be judged in the public arena and at the polls in November."
According to SAVE spokesman Philip W. Cook, "H.R. 4970 certainly is not a perfect bill. Still, passage of the House measure is a victory for victims who have been refused service in the past. It removes most sex discriminatory language. It is also a victory for taxpayers who are tired of the ongoing reports of waste and fraud."
SAVE thanks the many organizations and individuals who have supported VAWA reform efforts. SAVE will continue to work for ways to reform and strengthen the Violence Against Women Act:here.

Let's give ourselves a pat on the back and a high five. We did it. We stood up to big feminism and won. There is one thing I want to touch on:

So will we. We men are going to remember who was on our side and who our enemies were. We will reward our friends by re-electing them and we will punish our enemies by sending them back to the private sector. That also includes a President who threatens to veto HR 4970. Count on it.

Femafascism-Canadian style
As you may know Canadian MRA Earl Silverman is taking on the Canadian human rights commissions for being misandric. Earl's story is here and here. Now don't get the idea that Canada is going to become an MRA paradise anytime soon. Not when you look at this and the following:
To day I will be in court setting a date for a jury trial [charges are indictable] on the charges of extortion and threatening; both bogus and if brought to someone else the charges would be dropped.
The is the system eliminating dissent; jail them and send them to the gulag...
I am calling this system abuse the RPG; the Rosa Parks Gambit; I will not sit in the back of the bus because I am a man!!! I hope this abuse can become a national rally point; if I am in jail who will take over, who will speak out, but most important; WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT THE COUNTRY WE LIVE IN????????????????????????
May 16 I will before the Appeals Court of Alberta pertaining to the abuse of the system against the hr complaint.
The MASH*4077 needs some cash to stay alive; this is the only shelter in Canada and needs Canadian involvement. We need your support and cash.
I personally need some support with the criminal court matters.
Do something and help.

If the voices of Canadian MRA's are silenced then it is up to us in other countries to voice our concerns about how our Canadian brethren are being treated and to protest the injustice and oppression they are suffering. We should condemn the Canadian government for their oppression against one man that would dare to stand up to them. But that's the thing: It is not one man but all men and a lot of MRA's in other countries are watching what will be the results of that brave man seeking justice from his government. END THE UNJUST PERSECUTION OF EARL SILVERMAN !!!
