I received the following from Fight For The Future, here it is:
On January 24th the Senate will vote on their version of the internet censorship bill SOPA. This is our best chance to kill the internet censorship bill.
The problem? We need 41 Senators to agree not to rush a vote, and right now we've got 2. That's why we're asking you to take an unusual step: We need you to request an in-person meeting with your Senators.
Can you ask for an in-person meeting with your Senators? Click here to get started.
Most Senators are home right now for the January recess. And most--even those who've signed on as cosponsors--do not understand these bills and the terrible consequences they'll have for the internet, the economy, and free speech. If they're blindsided by the strength and clarity of our objections, we can bring them over to our side. The future of the internet depends on it.
If you do get a meeting you won't be alone-- post it to the forums and we'll organize others to join you. We can also provide materials and help with preparation. Leading up to the vote we'll also be swarming townhall meetings and public appearances, as they're announced. But right now, we need to set up these in-person meetings.
Please, click here to ask for a meeting. We've got your back.
We've taken the time to ask each Senator's office the best way to request a meeting. But we need you to take the plunge-- it'll only take a few minutes.
After you set up your meeting, be sure to share information on the forums. Did you get a date and time for a meeting? Did you learn any other information that will be useful for others trying to set up a meeting? If you can take on an organizing role, say so.
And please, stay active and keep spreading the word about the need to meet your Senator. There is an absolute firestorm of news and energy around
stopping SOPA/PIPA on the internet, but it's not always visible to Senators and their staff.
Be visible. Schedule a meeting. This is our best chance to stop SOPA, and it could be our last.
Thanks for everything you do this month,
--Holmes, Tiffiniy, Donny
P.S. The Reddit community has been an anti-SOPA firestorm. These meetings are our best hope for beating SOPA, and we think Reddit needs to know about it. If you agree, help us spread the word on Reddit.
P.P.S. Please use these links to ask your friends to help fill up your local events too. Everyone needs to know the game plan: schedule meetings, and swarm townhalls.
That's a good idea,if you can schedule an appointment with your Senators then by all means go for it but if you can't an email will do just fine. The pressure's on so let's get writing an email or planning the in-person appointment. Our freedoms are on the line so the more of us they hear from the more they will take us seriously.
My thoughts on pro-masculism and anti-feminism. Some thoughts may mirror what others have said while others are uniquely mine but either way they are legitimate.

New law will strip Americans of their rights
Tell Congress To Undo The NDAA, Ban Indefinite Military Detention Of Americans
President Obama just signed the National Defense Authorization Act into law despite startling provisions that will allow the military to indefinitely detain American citizens. It's a travesty, defying basic principles of justice and due process in perhaps the most extreme respect our nation has ever seen.
Thankfully, several lawmakers are keeping up the fight. Senator Dianne Feinstein has introduced legislation to undo these provisions of the NDAA, in the form of the Due Process Guarantee Act. We need to urge other Senators to support it.
The Due Process Guarantee Act of 2011 amends the Non-Detention Act of 1971 by providing that a Congressional authorization for the use of military force does not authorize the indefinite detention—without charge or trial—of U.S. citizens who are apprehended domestically.
If there's enough of a public outcry, we have a real chance of making this happen: More than 40 senators voted against the indefinite detention provisions of the NDAA -- and that was before the media and general public caught on to what was happening. Please urge your Senators to remedy this terrible wrong.
Just fill out the form at right to urge your lawmakers to block the indefinite detention of Americans
Here's Feinstein's press release on her new legislation.click here

Victory
I received the following from Demand Progress:
Some great news: We pulled off a huge victory a couple of days ago. After Demand Progress members sent 70,000 emails to their lawmakers, the Senate beat back a challenge to Net Neutrality rules, on a narrow 52-46 vote.
This win proves that our voices can have a real effect on policy choices in DC -- and affirms that we need to keep up our work on that most significant threat to online freedoms: The Internet Blacklist Bill.
For more information on Net Neutrality click here
This says a lot,it says that ordinary people can beat back large corporate interests. This is a great victory but there is still more work that needs to be done. For more information:click here

Standing up to China
I received an email from American Jobs Alliance which states the following:
China systematically undervalues its currency, making Chinese goods 40% cheaper compared to U.S. goods. This is illegal, and it's bankrupting American businesses. This is a major cause of our unemployment and our trade deficit with China. At least 2.8 million American jobs have been stolen by China's cheating and illegal trade practices. Ending China's currency manipulation would create over 2 million American jobs.
China's playing games and it is up to us to keep them accountable. If we the people don't then China is going to tank our economy and we will be in trouble then.

From Demand Progress
I received the following from Demand Progress. I'll let them take it from here:
We're off to the races.
As they try to protect their profits by censoring the Internet, Disney, Warner Bros, and the gang have launched a front group called "Creative America." They just announced that 10,000 people have signed up over the last three months.
Will you help us prove that most Americans stand with us -- and against censorship -- by helping us identify 10,000 new censorship opponents in the next 24 hours?
Thousands have already signed, but our deadline is fast approaching: The Entertainment Industry is touting its 10,000 pro-Internet censorship signatures.
Will you ask your friends to stand against censorship with us? We're trying to beat their 10,000 signatures in 24 hours.
They may be refering to this: click here

Stop the FCC from censoring the net
I received the following from Demand Progress that there is a bill that will allow the government to censor the internet through the FCC. The bill passed the House and is now in the Senate. It is sponsored by Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX). Here is what Demand Progress had to say:
Net Neutrality is under attack: Big Telecom is ramming a resolution through the Senate to undermine existing Net Neutrality regulations and ban the FCC from enacting protections in the future.
Will you urge your Senators to stand strong? Just fill out the form at right.
As The Hill newspaper notes, "Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison (R-TX) said she will push for a Senate vote on a resolution of disapproval to negate the regulations this fall. A similar vote passed the House earlier this year but stalled in the Senate."
Just fill out the form at right to email your Senators.
To fill out the petition click here. This is a bullshit move by Congress and we need to call them on it. We don't want the net to be censored. Censorship is a violation of the 1st Amemdment and we need to tell Congress we won't stand for it. If you agree with that then sign the petition right away.

Defeat the Internet Blacklist bill
Stop The Internet Blacklist Bill
By David Segal and Patrick Ruffini
We are Tea Partiers and bleeding-heart liberals, we are artists and investment bankers, we represent the left and the right, and we support Senator Wyden as he comes forward, yet again, as a stalwart champion for First Amendment rights, innovation and digital security.
The problem at hand is a bill called the "Preventing Real Online Threats to Economic Creativity and Theft of Intellectual Property Act" (PROTECT IP) and it aims to permanently change our digital landscape – that's why we're calling it what it is: The Internet Blacklist Bill.
Imagine you're the successful owner of a heavily trafficked website. Your income and that of those with whom you work depends entirely on the advertising revenue and payments provided by visitors to your site. One day, without warning, your site no longer appears at its domain, your advertisers have backed out, and you can't even find your site on Google. You've been disappeared – blacklisted by new regulations set by Congress in the PROTECT IP Act.
If passed, PROTECT IP would give the government dramatic new powers to target websites dedicated to the illegal distribution of copyrighted content. Violating sites would have their domain disabled in DNS servers (the servers that match the domain name with the numerical IP address and make sure you go to the websites you want to), and all third party sites, including search engines, would be required to remove the site from their registries and disable all links to the domain in question.
Even worse, PROTECT IP also includes a "private right of action" that would allow rights holders to obtain a temporary restraining order against a domain in civil court. Instead, big content providers like the RIAA can target websites at their whim, urging courts to shut down anyone they accuse of violating U.S. copyright law.
The entities accused of infringement wouldn't even get their day in court until after they've been shut down – they could appeal to the courts for relief only after the fact.
Big interest groups in favor of PROTECT IP have recently pushed the idea that to be against this bill is to handicap aspiring artists and to be in opposition to a fair marketplace. We vehemently disagree. Regulations stipulated in PROTECT IP would cause tremendous damage to the infrastructure and security of the Internet and ultimately undermine the millions of entrepreneurs, businesses and artists who depend on a free, uninterrupted communications platform.
Already, venture capitalists, engineers, and entrepreneurs (including Google CEO Eric Schmidt) have penned letters and petitions against PROTECT IP, citing the corrosive effect it would have on digital security and innovation. Human rights activists are terrified that PROTECT IP will provide comfort to totalitarian regimes that seek ever more control over Internet users in their own countries. More that 400,000 Americans have urged their lawmakers to oppose the bill. But ultimately, we are depending on lawmakers, like Sen. Wyden to make the final decisions and defend our rights.
David Segal is Executive Director of the left-leaning Demand Progress and Patrick Ruffini is Executive Director of the right-leaning Don't Censor the Net, which together have generated more than 400,000 anti-PIPA contacts to Congress.
Source: click here
When both wings mutually hate something it must be pretty bad and PROTECT IP is definitely a bad bill and must go down to defeat. They have a petition on the Demand Progress website so do sign that as well. If you love freedom then don't hesitate to sign that petition.

Audit the Fed
In the United States we have to keep government accountable or we will be in dire straits. There is one agency that is not accountable to the people and that is the Federal Reserve. However Ron and Rand Paul want to change that. Ron with HR 459 and Rand with S 202. I'll let Audit the Fed take it from here:
An Open Letter to Congress
Whereas:Congress, the Federal Reserve, and the U.S. Treasury have put the American taxpayer on the hook for over $16 trillion in bailouts and loans; and
Whereas: The Federal Reserve continues to refuse to fully disclose the details of its emergency lending; and
Whereas: Allowing the Fed to operate our nation's monetary system in almost complete secrecy leads to abuse, inflation, and a lower quality of life for every American; and
Whereas: HR 459 and S 202, the Federal Reserve Transparency Act, would require a complete audit of the Fed for the first time in its history and would provide answers to the American people about how our money is being spent;
Therefore: It's time to hold the Federal Reserve accountable to Congress and the American People. I urge you to do everything in your power to pass the Audit the Fed bill!
Submit the information below to sign the petition and join the Audit the Fed coalition. Copies will be sent to your representatives in Congress:
Yes,do sign the petition. If accountability in government to preserve freedom is something that appeals to you then by all means sign the petition. Hold government accountable. Also email your political leaders and tell them how you feel on these bills. The more of us they hear from the better so email them today.

Gingrich acknowledges anti-male bias in family court

Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich acknowledged the anti-male bias of the family court. A question was asked of Gingrich by one of Glenn Sacks people at Fathers and Families. The article says:
Gingrich added that he was “in favor of fathers having rights…We live in an age that is very different than 50 years ago and I think that it is very often very important…that we have a much greater sensitivity that both sides, both parents, both have rights and have responsibilities…”
Fathers aren't the only ones trying to preserve their rights in the anglosphere in fact everyman who is awake and activist is trying to safeguard himself as well. Family court is not the only court that has an anti-male bias. Criminal court has a very anti-male bias as well when you consider that men get more time for the same crime than women do and that men are the exclusive recipients of capital punishment. It sounds like Newt maybe receptive to what we have to say and the more of us that email him the better. He can be reached here. If he is willing to discuss men's issues then we should present our concerns to him and the more of us he hears from the better.

a couple of things-part 2
Remember emailing Bangor Daily News reporter Bill Trotter, telling him about the Vladek Filler case in which rogue prosecutor Mary N. Kellett tried to railroad the accused and asking him to look into it? Well he did and it is here. Thanks to our efforts we have the media looking into Kellett and now more people are becoming aware of her deplorable actions. You guys did good and take this moment to give yourselves a pat on the back. The united actions of MRA's are having an effect. Don't let anyone talk you out of men's rights activism because we are on the right track.
Second issue is there is censorship on America speaking out. America speaking out is a site funded by TAXPAYER DOLLARS and authorized by the Speaker of the House. I have emailled the admin for this site and received no reply so the Speaker of the House,John Boehner, was contacted regarding this. The problem is that America speaking out is censoring while being a government agency and that goes against the First Amendment stating Congress cannot abolish free speech. We should contact the Speaker and tell him what they are doing. When selecting issue select "ethics". The more of us he hears from the better so email him today.

Political forum
There is a political site called Vote for democracy.org that presents issues to the politicians. This is a general political site but if we can push our issues the chances are the more people are going to read them and hopefully get aboard the MRM train. On this site we can write pro-male legislation and pur it in front of our elected leaders. Let's give it try.
