My thoughts on pro-masculism and anti-feminism. Some thoughts may mirror what others have said while others are uniquely mine but either way they are legitimate.

Add Your Voice to the Call for Free Speech
Right now, the Office for Civil Rights is stifling student and professor free speech, due process, and liberty rights in order to enforce a policy agenda.
This has to stop.
Fortunately, the Senate Homeland Security Committee is holding an oversight hearing on agency overreach
This Thursday, June 9th, at 10:45 a.m. EST: Senate Hearings on overreach
But let's not wait until then for your voice to be heard--
Free speech is too important.
This moment, call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask to speak to your federal representatives.(Senate) Tell them the Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights (OCR) is a loose cannon that needs to be reigned in immediately.
Please call now and help protect the Constitution, in crisis on our campuses.
Let's see. Senator Lamar Alexander and Senator James Lankford are just of fond of this little bullshit game as we are. Which means they are not too fond of it either which means they may be allies in our cause so if you do or you do not live in their district contact them anyway and ask for their help in restoring due process on our college and university campuses. You can also contact the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee here and tell them how displeased you are with Catherine Lhamon and the damage she has caused.

The lobbyists? That's us. Let's tell them our disgust toward VAWA and that it is either made male friendly or scrapped altogether. S.47 is going to be voted on this week so let them know ASAP.

VAWA vote today at 5pm est
SAVE has just issued a report showing many of the programs funded under S. 47, the Violence Against Women Act, place victims at risk of continued abuse and even death. Restraining orders, mandatory arrest, and aggressive prosecution policies are all found to be increasing partner violence, according to the research summary.
The report can be viewed here.
For example, VAWA funds the enforcement of restraining orders, but they are widely believed to be ineffective in curbing abuse. A review of homicide-suicides in North Carolina revealed the issuance of a restraining order was the most common trigger for such tragedies, present in 41% of such incidents.
The SAVE report terms the continued taxpayer funding of these harmful policies as "A triumph of ideology over science and common-sense."
Sounds crazy? Call your Senators today 1-866-220-0044. Tell them that S. 47 would be a deadly proposition for many.
Please act now....voting on S. 47 is expected to begin at 5pm ET on Monday!

If we can get VAWA aka S.47 killed in the Senate then we won't have to concern ourselves over it anymore. If it passes and goes to the House then we have to go after it in the House as well. It would be a lot easier to just end it now so send in those emails. The following Senators are also not VAWA friendly: Rand Paul,Mike Lee,Chuck Grassley and Orrin Hatch. Also Senator Mitch McConnell is the ranking Republican member there so it may be a good idea to let him know as well.

S.47,VAWA,goes before the Senate soon so voice your displeasure with it now
The Senate is expected to vote on S. 47, a Violence Against Women Act reauthorization bill this week. Unfortunately, S. 47 ignores well-documented problems. VAWA Reform Principals are urgently needed to create a comprehensive and effective VAWA.
DO NOT DELAY!
Please call your Senators TODAY.
Tell them, "Say NO to S. 47 and YES to Real VAWA Reform!"

Or you can email them too. Tell your Senators you hate VAWA and don't want it reauthorized. I've also contacted Senator Rand Paul and Senator Mike Lee because they are not big fans of it either especially Lee who flat-out called it "unconstitutional" and voted against VAWA. Can't fault another VAWA hater so way to go,Lee. The Republican leader in the Senate is Senator Mitch McConnell so you may want to let him know too.

VAWA is back as S.47,defeat S.47
As we told you last week, S. 47, a Violence Against Women Act reauthorization bill has been introduced in the Senate. Unfortunately, S. 47 is very similar to last year's VAWA and ignores well-documented problems.
You'd think that with all of the controversy surrounding VAWA, the Senate would afford time for discussion and the possible addition of amendments. But this may not be the case! Word is that it may skip the Judicial Committee and go straight to the floor for a vote!
We believe that these VAWA Reform Principals are vital and urgently needed to create a comprehensive and effective VAWA: click here
Our urgent request: Please call your Senators RIGHT NOW. Tell them, "Say NO to S. 47 and YES to Real VAWA Reform!"
Find your senators here.
Let's show them what we're made of. Use those phones!
Thanks!

P.S. Please help us grow our efforts. And share this e-lert with a friend.
Or you can email them. Looks like they're trying an old game on a new Senate hoping to get their way of putting the burden upon men even more but we've got to tell them it won't work we're not going to take it anymore.

What Happened to the Presumption of Innocence?
The DV industry is telling Congress that the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) must be reauthorized during the lame duck session. We need to make sure they hear our message that VAWA should not be reauthorized unless it respects the presumption of innocence.

Do not let them remove "presumption of innocence" when it comes to VAWA
This week is the beginning of our "What Happened to the Presumption of Innocence?" campaign. And we're starting right out of the gate with a 24-hour call to action. This week is the beginning of our "What Happened to the Presumption of Innocence?" campaign. And we're starting right out of the gate with a 24-hour call to action.
Today is a Day of Action for some victim advocates, with calls and tweets asking for reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). We're not so quick to jump on that bandwagon, because VAWA is not ready to be reauthorized. It still has many provisions that strip the presumption of innocence from the accused.
See our recent press release for more details:click here
Let's have our own 24 Hours of Action! For the next 24 hours*, call both your Senators and your Representative at 1-202-224-3121. You can also find your Senators' phone numbers and your Representative's phone number
Or you can go to their websites and send email. Whichever is easier.
Simply say "Don't pass VAWA until the presumption of innocence is restored!"
THIS IS IMPORTANT. I KNOW THAT WE CAN DO THIS!

How many more men need to be sacrificed on the altar of feminism before it is "enough"? How many men's souls crushed before it is "enough"? How many gallons of men's blood is the matriarchal queen going to gorge before she has had "enough"? That is why it is up to us men to not just say "enough" but to actually mean it.

Be vigilant during the lame duck session of Congress
To send the mailgram click here
What we have in Congress right now is a lame duck session where it is still under the control of outgoing members until January when the new Congress is sworn in. This includes both houses. It is up to us to keep them honest in their final days in Congress. In this case we are putting our senators on notice that we are watching them and that will lobby to keep our civil liberties intact. If this sounds good to you send the mailgram.

CISPA defeated
Internet Wins Again! We Beat Back Cyber-Snooping Bill
The Internet wins again! The advocates for the cyber-security bill failed to get enough support to proceed to a final vote on the legislation. They won't be reading your email and sharing your personal data -- anytime soon, at least.
Will you add your name at right to thank the senators who stood with us? We'll surely be working with them again soon. And please use these links to share the great news (and Success Baby).
You guys were amazing throughout this fight: Demand Progress members sent 500,000 emails to the Senate and made thousands of phone calls in opposition to the bill. Countless other activists took up this fight too -- groups like the ACLU, EFF, Center for Democracy and Technology, Fight for the Future, and Free Press.
Just as important was the coalition of senators working on the inside to stand up for our rights. Several senators voted against cloture at least in part because of privacy concerns. And there's a broader, newly-empowered bloc of senators who've helped fight for pro-privacy changes to the legislation -- people like Ron Wyden (OR), Al Franken (MN), and Bernie Sanders (VT).***
Please add your name at right to make sure they know that we're grateful, and that we'll stand with them -- we'll have to fight this battle again sometime soon.
PETITION TO PRO-PRIVACY SENATORS: We thank you for your hard work to protect our privacy and Internet freedom. As we share in the excitement of this victory we want you to know that we look forward to working with you whenever there's a threat to the Internet.
Add your name at right to thank the senators who stood up for privacy and Internet freedom.

Way to go,everyone. First PIPA then SOPA and now the latest threat to the internet,CISPA,goes down to defeat. Everyone give yourselves a pat on the back you deserve it. Now sign the thank you petition and be done with CISPA for good.

Civil Liberties groups opposed to invasion of privacy and indefinite detention
There's a huge issue looming that we had to be in touch about: Congress is on the verge of ending your right to privacy. The sites you visit, your personal emails, and everything you do online could soon be used by secretive government agencies to hurt you.
Our plan is to stop this bill like we stopped SOPA. But it won’t be easy. A key vote in the Senate next week is our last good chance.
Some background: the House passed the privacy-killing bill CISPA last month after a rushed vote. CISPA would let any corporation share users’ private information with any government agency, from the NSA to the FBI to local police. In just days, the Senate will vote on a similar bill, Lieberman-Collins or the “SECURE IT Act”. Both bills would trump decades of existing privacy laws and establish wholesale sharing of your personal information between corporations and the government.
While SOPA would have empowered Hollywood to take down websites, CISPA and its Senate counterpart, Lieberman-Collins, would let Homeland Security and private companies build vast databases of our data that could be used against individuals at any time and for any purpose. Goodbye privacy, hello police state.
The general consensus among internet freedom groups is that CISPA poses a greater threat to your rights than SOPA. The difference is, the bill hasn’t made enemies of the largest tech companies. This time, public interest groups like us are on our own, and we need your help more than ever.
To be honest, we’re not sure we can win this. Congress is convinced they have to pass *something*. But we’re sure the playbook we’re working from right now is our best shot. And we’ve got a team of three organizers dedicated to making it happen. First we’re asking people to email and call local Senate offices while the Senators are at home for Memorial Day recess, and drop in at Senate offices to express their concerns about the bill. We’re planning a call-in day for later in the week, and we’ll also be pressuring President Obama to keep his veto promise (this won’t be easy). But the first step is to either write or call your Senator right now. If we’re going to win, everybody needs to be heard.
One thing that’s in our favor: timing. This is an election year, and there’s just a few more weeks before Congress *shuts down*. If we can make Senators think twice before voting on this, we can run out the clock and hold on to our privacy rights. Even if you’re not a US-citizen, this still affects you: any information that passes through US-based services could be shared with the US government. Help us spread the word and find every single one of your friends who cares about their privacy and can help save it.
Thanks for always being there for the internet.
- Tiffiniy Cheng, Fight for the Future
P.S. We also just redesigned our website and put two beautiful billboards outside SOPA sponsor Lamar Smith’s offices.
P.P.S. If you’re in Europe, click here and make a call. There are important votes on ACTA this week.

And from Demand Progress:
Tell Senate To Oppose Cyber Security Bill And Indefinite Detention
We're teaming up with several other groups on a call-in day to the Senate today. Demand Progress is fighting on two fronts:
1) We're opposing the National Defense Authorization Act -- especially its provisions which would legalize the use of propaganda on American citizens and permit the indefinite detention of civilians.
These dangerous, detestable violations of our basic freedoms will have our own government treating Americans as though we're the enemy.
2) We're opposing the Lieberman-Collins cyber security bill -- similar to CISPA but not exactly the same -- because it will violate Americans' online privacy.
It will tear down barriers that prevent corporations from sharing your info with one another and with the government.

You can find your senator here. Either email them or call them either way it'll go to defeating these two monstrosities. Time is running out now is the time to act.

Let's congratulate the Senators that stood up for everything decent
The senate voted on the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) yesterday. Sen. Leahy's version passed with 68 votes for and 31 against. Now it moves to the House.
Please do not get disheartened. Look at the bright side: 31 senators were brave enough to vote no. Imagine how difficult that was in this election year.
We need to thank these senators, especially Sen. Grassley for providing a substitute amendment, and we need to do it right now.

VAWA to go before Senate
t's down to the wire. The senate is expected to vote on the Violence Against Women Act very soon.
Vice President Biden recalled recently that when VAWA was first passed, opponents warned that it would be misused in divorce. They were right.
One in six Americans know someone who has been falsely accused of domestic violence. The "silver bullet" in divorce, false allegations are sometimes used to obtain child custody. This despicable act removes fit and loving parents from the lives of their children.
Please take a moment as soon as possible, and speak out for the millions of children who are missing a falsely accused parent. And do it for the parents who are grieving for their children, stolen with a lie.
Find your senators here: click here. Take note of their party affiliation and phone number.
If your senator is a Republican, call, and ask them to support Sen. Grassley's Substitute Amendment to VAWA.
If your senator is a Democrat, call, and ask them to demand changes to Sen. Leahy's VAWA (S. 1925), to curb false allegations of domestic violence.
Thank you for taking a stand for affected families everywhere.

Senate getting wary toward VAWA
I enjoy Spring, the season of new beginnings and hope. My hope is that we give domestic violence law a new beginning, starting with the reform of VAWA (S.1925) to protect civil rights. Easter break has passed, and the Senate is back in session. As of this writing, there has not been a vote on VAWA. Word has it the delay is due to some Senators behind the scenes demanding amendments to S.1925 in return for their vote. This is great news for us!
I hope you realize that your calls give these senators the motivation and strength to speak out on your behalf. Please don't let them down now, not when they need your support the most. Let's do another round of phone calls today.
Please contact your two senators and ask them to be sure the new VAWA respects civil rights, esp. the requirement of the 4th Amendment to have probable cause before a person can be arrested.
Find your senators' phone numbers here or call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121, where an operator will connect you with the Senate office you request.
Hope is a wonderful thing. But it's not enough when it comes to politics. Now, get busy and make those calls!
Want to feel really good about yourself? Call every day until the vote. ;-)
Thanks,
teri

Sounds like encouraging news which means there may be some light at the end of the tunnel. Let's make those calls or send those emails if you prefer. The time to strike is now considering the iron is hot. Let's make contact and roast VAWA or at least purge the misandric parts of it.
Also it may be a good idea to contact Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell R-Kentucky and tell him to include Constitutional safeguards in VAWA as well. If we can get him to see our side of it it will be very good for us because he's the leader of the republicans in the Senate so they'll listen to him.

FBI abuses the rights of the people
Senators Ron Wyden and Mark Udall have been blowing the whistle: Law enforcement is using a secret interpretation of the PATRIOT Act to spy on people who aren't connected with terrorism. The FBI operates under a cloak of secrecy, so we only know about this because these two courageous senators are defying the intelligence agencies and speaking out. Here's the New York Times:
Mr. Wyden and Mr. Udall have for months been raising concerns that the government has secretly interpreted a part of the Patriot Act in a way that they portray as twisted, allowing the Federal Bureau of Investigation to conduct some kind of unspecified domestic surveillance that they say does not dovetail with a plain reading of the statute.
Wyden and Udall deserve our support. They just wrote a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder demanding that he come clean -- will you sign on at right to join them?
PETITION TO ATTORNEY GENERAL ERIC HOLDER: Stop misleading the public. We stand with Senators Wyden and Udall and demand that you come clean about how you're using the PATRTIOT Act
click here to sign the petition.
Looks like the Patriot Act is being misused and in the interests of freedom we have to call them on it. The FBI is not the SS nor are they the KGB so they don't need to act that way. This is a democratic republic where the rights of the people are safeguarded. Time for us to exercise ours.

VAWA goes before the Senate
In the last week, Senator Leahy (D-VT) gathered enough co-sponsors to avoid a filibuster, and the Senate is expected to vote on the Violence Against Women Act (S.1925) very soon.
This means time is running short to take action.
Let's make sure that every senator knows that without accountability, accreditation and equal protection, VAWA is a flawed bill. Let's make sure they know that we want them to vote NO.
Find your senators' phone numbers here: click here.
Or call the Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121, where an operator will connect you directly with the Senate office you request.
The vote could be this week, so please call right now.
Sincerely,
Teri

VAWA debate at U.S. News and World Report
As of this writing, the entry in first place is: "NO: Violence Against Women Act Is a Totalitarian Violation of Democracy" by Laura Wood.click here In second place is "NO: The Violence Against Women Act Should Outrage Decent People" by Janice Shaw Crouse.click here Following that are a few entries supporting the reauthorization.
You could read these two thoughtful articles explaining why Senator Leahy's VAWA misses the mark, or you could read all of the entries, pro and against VAWA. We encourage that.
But we also understand how valuable your time is. So if you only have a moment and you want to make a difference, I'll explain how you can do that.
Go to the debate here: click here. Scroll down until you see these two 'NO' opinions:
Click on the UP buttons next to Laura's and Janice's entries. That's it!
If you have another moment, you could click the down buttons next to all of the 'yes' entries.
Thank you for your continued dedication, and for your patience. I believe we are starting to see the results of our slow and steady efforts. Isn't it just wonderful?
Sincerely,
Teri

If you have time to write an opinion that is great too in fact it is preferred but if don't then support our friends and undermining our enemies is good too. You do that by upvoting or downvoting. There are politicians weighing in too and they are reading this site so if you want to weigh in this is a great reason to do so.
