Civil Liberties groups opposed to invasion of privacy and indefinite detention

From Fight For The Future:

There's a huge issue looming that we had to be in touch about: Congress is on the verge of ending your right to privacy. The sites you visit, your personal emails, and everything you do online could soon be used by secretive government agencies to hurt you.

Our plan is to stop this bill like we stopped SOPA. But it won’t be easy. A key vote in the Senate next week is our last good chance.

Some background: the House passed the privacy-killing bill CISPA last month after a rushed vote. CISPA would let any corporation share users’ private information with any government agency, from the NSA to the FBI to local police. In just days, the Senate will vote on a similar bill, Lieberman-Collins or the “SECURE IT Act”. Both bills would trump decades of existing privacy laws and establish wholesale sharing of your personal information between corporations and the government.

While SOPA would have empowered Hollywood to take down websites, CISPA and its Senate counterpart, Lieberman-Collins, would let Homeland Security and private companies build vast databases of our data that could be used against individuals at any time and for any purpose. Goodbye privacy, hello police state.

The general consensus among internet freedom groups is that CISPA poses a greater threat to your rights than SOPA. The difference is, the bill hasn’t made enemies of the largest tech companies. This time, public interest groups like us are on our own, and we need your help more than ever.

To be honest, we’re not sure we can win this. Congress is convinced they have to pass *something*. But we’re sure the playbook we’re working from right now is our best shot. And we’ve got a team of three organizers dedicated to making it happen. First we’re asking people to email and call local Senate offices while the Senators are at home for Memorial Day recess, and drop in at Senate offices to express their concerns about the bill. We’re planning a call-in day for later in the week, and we’ll also be pressuring President Obama to keep his veto promise (this won’t be easy). But the first step is to either write or call your Senator right now. If we’re going to win, everybody needs to be heard.

One thing that’s in our favor: timing. This is an election year, and there’s just a few more weeks before Congress *shuts down*. If we can make Senators think twice before voting on this, we can run out the clock and hold on to our privacy rights. Even if you’re not a US-citizen, this still affects you: any information that passes through US-based services could be shared with the US government. Help us spread the word and find every single one of your friends who cares about their privacy and can help save it.

Thanks for always being there for the internet.

- Tiffiniy Cheng, Fight for the Future

P.S. We also just redesigned our website and put two beautiful billboards outside SOPA sponsor Lamar Smith’s offices.

P.P.S. If you’re in Europe, click here and make a call. There are important votes on ACTA this week.

And from Demand Progress:

Tell Senate To Oppose Cyber Security Bill And Indefinite Detention

We're teaming up with several other groups on a call-in day to the Senate today. Demand Progress is fighting on two fronts:

1) We're opposing the National Defense Authorization Act -- especially its provisions which would legalize the use of propaganda on American citizens and permit the indefinite detention of civilians.

These dangerous, detestable violations of our basic freedoms will have our own government treating Americans as though we're the enemy.

2) We're opposing the Lieberman-Collins cyber security bill -- similar to CISPA but not exactly the same -- because it will violate Americans' online privacy.

It will tear down barriers that prevent corporations from sharing your info with one another and with the government.

You can find your senator here. Either email them or call them either way it'll go to defeating these two monstrosities. Time is running out now is the time to act.

June is false allegations awareness month

From Save Services:

June is False Allegations Awareness Month.

Help us bring awareness to False Allegations of Abuse during the month of June. Here are some ideas to get you started. Like posting this link to your social media network, where your friends will learn that 700,000 persons are wrongfully arrested for domestic violence each year.

We hope you'll join us at the Connecting for Change false allegations awareness conference in Washington, DC on June 30. You can also join us as citizen lobbyists on Capitol Hill June 29. In order to lobby, you must attend a June 19 teleconference. Register for either or both events by sending an email to info@saveservices.org.

You've seen what happens when we all work together. Let's put this unity to work to end false allegations!

Sincerely,

teri

June is a couple of days away so let's observe June as False Allegations Awareness month. Perhaps we can tell our representatives at the state level about false allegations not only in domestic violence but for rape as well and let them know that June is False Allegations Awareness month. We were able to get somewhere with VAWA we should give this a try and see what happens.

Men's centers in acadamia

I'm reading where a lot of college men are starting men's centers on university and college campuses and they are getting a lot of flack from feminists and manginas. If you are anti-feminist,pro-MRA and you are one of these guys we have your back. If you fit the criteria I previously mentioned then we will back you and help you get the center set up and fight off the feminasties. Universities and colleges should be the place for free speech and the fair exchange of ideas. Under feminism it is anything but that. It is time to restore what once was and return freedom to university and college campuses. You young college men are the future and when we get these centers set up and running things should get better for college men everywhere. A men's center will give men a male positive perspective by letting them know that masculinity is not evil just as femininity is not virtuous . The day and age of men accepting female abuse is over and we are not going to take it anymore and we're going to let other men know they don't have to take it either. Let's get those centers up and running.

No anonymity for New York State residents if S 6779 passes

New York State Senator Thomas F. O'Mara

New York Senate bill seeks to end anonymous internet posting By Tecca | Today in Tech – Thu, May 24, 2012

Anonymity is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, the United States was founded, in part, thanks to Thomas Paine's anonymously written, pro-revolution pamphlet Common Sense. On the other hand, 12-year-olds who post anonymously on the internet can be rather unpleasant and cause real problems by cyberbullying. Whether you think the good outweighs the bad, this news is troubling indeed: A far-reaching bill introduced in the New York State Senate could end the practice of posting online once and for all.

Introduced by New York State Sen. Thomas F. O'Mara (R—Big Flats), S6779 would require that any anonymous post online is subject to removal if the poster refuses to post — and verify — their legal name, their IP address, and their home address. From the (likely well intentioned) bill: "A web site administrator upon request shall remove any comments posted on his or her web site by an anonymous poster unless such anonymous poster agrees to attach his or her name to the post and confirms that his or her IP address, legal name, and home address are accurate. All web site administrators shall have a contact number or e-mail address posted for such removal requests, clearly visible in any sections where comments are posted."

Critics are quick to point out how dangerous and ineffective the anti-privacy bill would be in the off chance that it somehow passes. After all, IP addresses do nothing to verify a person's identity, and including your home address on a controversial internet post could open you up to real-life threats.

In effect, the bill is an online stalker's dream. Of course, the most likely result of the bill's passage would just be the full-scale elimination of all comment systems everywhere, because the system is an unworkable burden on both the poster and the "web site administrators" who would need to respond to ludicrous take down requests at all times of the day.

If you live in New York State and you use a pseudonym you may want to oppose this bill. I use a pseudonym because feminists are amoral, psychopathic douchebags that stop at nothing to censor those they disagree with. We've seen it on this blog and other places in the manosphere so we know it's true. I don't know how far this bill will get but if you live in NYS you may want to write your representative and tell them to oppose it.

Prisons take anti-rape stance

Justice: Prisons to step up anti-rape efforts The Obama administration ordered federal, state and local officials Thursday to adopt zero tolerance for prison rape as it issued mandatory screening, enforcement and prevention regulations designed to reduce the number of inmates who suffer sexual victimization at the hands of other prisoners and prison staff.

By JESSE J. HOLLAND
Associated Press

WASHINGTON —
The Obama administration ordered federal, state and local officials Thursday to adopt zero tolerance for prison rape as it issued mandatory screening, enforcement and prevention regulations designed to reduce the number of inmates who suffer sexual victimization at the hands of other prisoners and prison staff.

Anti-rape advocates and victims of prison rape, while saying the standards are not perfect, cheered the new regulations. The rules have been under development since Congress passed the Prison Rape Elimination Act in 2003 to fight rape and sexual victimization in the nation's prisons, jails and halfway houses. The regulations were announced only minutes after the Justice Department unveiled a new survey of former state and local prisoners that showed that almost one in every 10 reported at least one incident of sexual victimization by prison staff or other inmates.

Garrett Cunningham was raped in a Texas prison by a guard in 2000, and now works with Just Detention International, an anti-prison rape group. "If strong national standards had been in place when I was in prison, my abuse may have never happened. Now that the standards have been released, we can make sure it never happens again," said Cunningham, who testified to Congress about his ordeal.

The regulations are immediately binding on federal prisons. States that don't fall in line face a loss of 5 percent of their Justice Department prison money unless their governor certifies that the same amount of money is being used to bring the state into compliance. Prison accreditation organizations also will be barred from federal grants unless they include similar anti-prison rape standards in their accreditation process, which means local jails could lose their accreditation unless they comply.

"Sexual violence, against any victim, is an assault on human dignity and an affront to American values," President Barack Obama said.

Obama announced that the Prison Rape Elimination Act would apply to all federal confinement facilities, and all other agencies with confinement facilities were required to have protocol to fight prison rape within a year. That means the Homeland Security Department, which runs immigrant detainment facilities, will have to have similar rules in place by this time next year.

"The standards we establish today reflect the fact that sexual assault crimes committed within our correctional facilities can have devastating consequences for individual victims and for communities far beyond our jails and prisons," Attorney General Eric Holder said.

But immigration advocates immediately denounced the idea that Homeland Security would be allowed to come up with its own rules instead of following the ones announced by the Justice Department.

"It was clearly the intent of Congress that every person in confinement in the U.S. would be protected from being raped. Holder's decision leaves those in Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities, many of whom are not accused of a crime, at the mercy of sexual predators," said Pat Nolan, president of the Justice Fellowship and former member of the National Prison Rape Elimination Commission.

The administration announcement came as the Bureau of Justice Statistics released its first-ever National Former Prisoners Survey, which found that 9.6 percent of former inmates said they were sexually victimized in jails, prisons and halfway houses. A somewhat similar survey of still-imprisoned convicts done by the same agency in 2008-09 found that only 4.4 percent of state and federal inmates said they were sexually victimized.

The difference may be because the former inmates in the current survey were asked about a longer time period than in the previous survey, said Allen J. Beck, an author of the survey. But it also could be that former inmates may be more willing to talk about the sexual victimization than the inmates currently housed inside those facilities, who have concerns about retaliation for speaking up.

Critics have said inmates may be willing to lie on these surveys in an attempt to embarrass a facility or refuse to report an incident for fear of retaliation.

The study defines sexual victimization as any type of unwanted sexual activity with other inmates, abusive sexual activity with other inmates and both willing and unwilling sexual activity with staff.

Among the findings:

- Almost the same number of former inmates were victimized by facility staff as were victimized by other inmates. About 27,300 - 5.4 percent - reported incidents with other inmates, while 23,300 - 5.3 percent - reported incidents that involved staff. Of the former inmates who reported incidents with staff, 6,300 said they had unwilling sex or sexual contact with staff, while the rest said they "willingly" had sexual contact. And half of the former inmates who were victimized by facility staff members said they were offered favors or privileges in exchange, while a third said they were talked into it.

Any sexual contact between staff and inmate is officially classified as nonconsensual. Prisons uniformly forbid inmate-staff sexual contact.

The new regulations require prison officials to screen inmates for the potential of sexual victimization and use that information in assigning housing and work, require background checks on employees and prohibit hiring of abusers. The regulations also say firing will be the presumptive punishment for staff members involved and ban cross-gender pat downs of female inmates and juveniles.

- A fourth of the former inmates victimized by other inmates said they had been physically held down or restrained, and a quarter also said they were physically injured or harmed during the attack.

The new rules would require juvenile inmates to be kept away from adult inmates, allow anonymous and outside-of-prison reports of sexual victimization and require evidence preservation after a reported incident. Facilities also must produce plans for adequate staffing and video monitoring.

- Gay and bisexual men seemed by far the most frequently targeted. The survey said that 39 percent of men who were gay and 34 percent of bisexual men reported being sexually victimized by another inmate, while only 3.5 percent of heterosexual men reported incidents. Lesbian and heterosexual women reported incidents with other inmates at the same rates - 13 percent - while staff victimization was double for lesbian women - 8 percent - compared with heterosexual women - 4 percent.

The new regulations would require detention facilities to incorporate the "unique vulnerabilities of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and gender nonconforming inmates into training and screening protocols."

This is a good idea when you take into consideration that more men are raped in prison than women are, whether in lock-up or on the street. If men are not raped in prison then they may have less hostility toward society and are less like to go back to prison.

Tell Obama you don't want indefinite detention

Tell Obama: End Indefinite Detention Now!

It was amazing news: Chris Hedges, Revolution Truth, et al won their lawsuit last week as a judge ruled that indefinite detention violates the Constitution. More than 50,000 Demand Progress members have signed on as supporters of the lawsuit.

Now indefinite detention is back in President Obama's hands: He can tell the government's lawyers not to appeal the ruling and end this travesty once and for all. Meanwhile, the Senate takes up indefinite detention THIS WEEK.

Please sign up at right to urge Obama and the Senate to stop supporting indefinite detention -- and use these links to share the photo at right:

Obama signed last year's National Defense Authorization Act even though it included provisions which could let the military detain civilians indefinitely without a trial or charges.

Despite a valiant effort by opponents, the House retained indefinite detention when it passed the new NDAA last week. The Senate will take it up soon, and President Obama can drop his defense of it in court.

Just add your name at right to send emails to Obama and the Senate right away.

And please spread the word and help us meme President Obama, by sharing the image at right.

If being labeled a "terrorist" and detained by the military indefinitely without due process sickens you then you may want to sign the petition to Obama and the Senate.

Forbes spreads misandry

From SAVE:

In the May 22 Forbes Magazine article entitled"How Some Men Are Upending Domestic Violence Laws to Scam an Advantage in Divorce" Jeff Landers, a financial adviser, helps sell a book by a once-victim who warns women that abusive men are misusing domestic violence laws to falsely accuse and get DV convictions against their wives.

While we have compassion for the author of the featured book, her claims do not match the research. It's not women, but men who are more likely to be falsely accused of abuse. It's not men, but women who are more likely to make the false allegation.

2011 Nationwide False Allegations Phone Survey Results: * Three-quarters of the falsely accused persons were male. * Nearly seven in 10 of the accusers were female.

Lander's article is a misrepresentation of false allegations of domestic violence and DV arrests. In his quest to "exclusively advise affluent women throughout the United States before, during, and after divorce," Landry and Forbes Magazine are spreading misinformation, promoting fear and profiting from misandry.

We do not think this is acceptable! And we hope that you agree.

The real Gloria Allred

Curvaceous client says Gloria Allred only fought for publicity
Published May 22, 2012
FoxNews.com

Super lawyer Gloria Allred cares more about cameras than clients, according to the buxom banker who sued after getting canned by Citigroup, allegedly because her assets were a distraction to co-workers.

Sounds like she got busted for creating a work environment that is hostile to men using her physical beauty as a distraction plus she probably wasn't doing her job either.

Debrahlee Lorenzana, who was fired in 2010, said Allred dropped her right around the time the press did, leaving her to take on the bank in arbitration.

“If I could turn back time, I would have not chosen Gloria Allred as my lawyer,” Lorenzana told the New York Daily News. Allred now has a similar case, representing Lauren Odes, who claims her employer tried to get her to “tape her breasts down” and wear a bathrobe over her skimpy outfits.

“Nobody should be fired because of their physical appearance,” Lorenzana told the paper. “I feel sorry for the girl.”

If a man were to put a cucumber down the front of his pants and then complained about how women were responding he would be laughed at. Women dressed to be noticed. If they wanted to dress down they would but they don't so quit blaming men for being men.

But keeping Allred's nose to the grindstone once the press conferences are over will be a trick, Lorenzana said. “The only times I saw her (Allred) was when the media was there,” she said, adding that Allred seemed to just want her to agree to a quick settlement.

“I thought because she was a woman that she would really fight for me,” she said.

Allred told the Daily News she and her team “put in hundreds of hours fighting for her (Lorenzana’s) rights.”

“Due to our legal obligations as attorneys, we were required to withdraw,” her statement read, noting that “ethical obligations” bar her from dishing about why lawyer and client parted ways.

All Allred is an ambulance chaser who loves publicity and just loves to get her face plastered all over the media. She's more about money and prestige than anything else.

NOW protests Limbaugh

The full force of NOW (National Organization for Wretched Hags) is coming down on Rush Limbaugh. Yep,all 7 NOW members plus Sandra Fluke so that makes 8 pissed off femihags coming after Rush. The funny part is that NOW claims to be 500,000 members strong. What happened to the rest of the 499,993? Did ACORN oversee the NOW membership drive? ACORN believes why should voting be limited to real, living citizens? Why can't the dead vote? Why can't imaginary creatures and illegal aliens? I'm sure they used these methods to inflate the membership of NOW. Let's take a look at the NOW gang, all 7 of them. I'm sure Fluke is with them in spirit or maybe she's putting her birth control to work. Who knows.

Notice the spokeswoman has no problem owning up to the fact that her gender makes most of the purchasing decisions. That didn't sound like the victimization we usually hear from NOW. No it sounded like a tool of empowerment. A tool in which they can imply the following: do as we say and nobody gets hurt. But that's the problem. Even time NOW does something men and boys get hurt and that has to change.

Another MRA hero is murdered

Robert Rivera:martyr for the cause

Are Mens Rights Activist Under Attack.

Low Wages are forcing many men to commit crimes to pay child support . In Floridas prisons dorms are being made to just house thousands of Vets. Robert Rivera was one of those men . That made a mistake as a child .Came out and spent years preaching in churches working with troubled youth and seeking to help the most oppressed and vulnerable people in his community .The picture is of Robert Rivera a man that was devoted to the Mens Rights Movement.

The Link Below Is A Ebook He Made 2 weeks Before His Death . Men's Rights Handbook

I know if he was alive today he would want people to know what is happening to our men due to a lack of affordable housing and their ability to have access to it . ABC News story

A Florida Mens Rights Activist recently gained over 85,000 signatures which can be viewed on Scribd.com search for.... Fathers And Men That Are Ex-Felons. It was reported that a women driving a a white van with a yellow tag left the scene of the crime. Robert Rivera died at the age of 34 years old. He also supported rights for women . He stated in many of his ebooks that he could not understand why responsible men could not live in their own ghettos. Could it be that politicians or feminist where worried about his petition that would help Vets and Felons have access to housing. He always stated that housing was one of the number 1 reasons why men had to commit crimes and sell drugs in the ghettos of America. He believed that in mans quest to live like others he may act out in unethical ways to maintain his dignity.

Congress requests that a petition have atleast 10,000 signatures he went over that 7 more times. Feminist have felt threatened by groups like the ANCPR which seek nothing more than to protect men and are ran by respectable lawyers. Feminist have targeted Mens Rights Actvist sites for speaking against unfair child support payments.Men are killing themselves in record numbers due to divorce and very high child support payments. Many men are left with no way to start a new life or even date and their is no affordable housing for men because they can not give birth to children. Robert Rivera like many other Mens Rights Activist seek nothing more than Gender Equality a state in which men can work and have access to the same grants, educational programs , and housing associaitons women with kids have access to. He believes that responsible men should have access to housing also..

We should remember Robert Rivera . The Fathers And Men That Are Ex-Felons was started by him and his videos and petitions are all over cyberspace Lets support justice not just for poor men but for all people we all have a right to live here. Let others know that Mens Rights Activist are no different that womens rights organizations. We seek to work through the courts for justice. Robert Rivera was a devote Buddhist and follower of the Amitabha Buddha and he loved life and animals . A cheerful soul that believed that dignity for men is important Men's Rights Handbook

It appears the feminists have upped the ante. I hope whoever murdered Robert Rivera is brought to justice and pays a stiff price. If they can find the woman in question then perhaps we can find out what happened to Robert Rivera,to bring justice not only to MRA's who want the killer of their fellow MRA brought to justice but also for the family members who lost a son, father, brother, uncle and male cousin. May justice prevail.

HR 4970 cleared the House

From SAVE:

House Approves Violence Against Women Act: SAVE Applauds Long-Overdue Reform Measures

WASHINGTON / May 17, 2012 - The House of Representatives has passed the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act by a 222-205 margin. Responding to public discontent, H.R. 4970 contains a number of measures designed to curb widespread waste and fraud in the domestic violence field.

A recent U.S. News poll found a strong majority of persons are opposed to the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) in its current form: here. Many women have questioned the effectiveness and fairness of the existing VAWA law:here

Reforms contained H.R. 4970 include strong accountability measures, gender-inclusive language, and provisions to stem fraudulent claims of abuse by immigrants. The current VAWA law has invited immigration fraud by not allowing the US citizen accused of abuse to submit evidence that could refute the accusation.

The White House played an active role in opposing the bill. The Obama Administration issued a Statement of Administration Policy on Tuesday stating it would veto any bill that was modeled on H.R. 4970.

During Wednesday's floor debate, sponsor Sandy Adams (R-FL) withstood numerous challenges. When informed by John Conyers (D-MI) that numerous organizations opposed her bill, she retorted, "Shame on them!"

Following passage of the bill, a number of established domestic violence organizations have reacted with anger and implied threats. The National Task Force to End Sexual and Domestic Violence Against Women called the bill "dangerous." The National Organization for Women charged that Representatives who voted for the bill "will be judged in the public arena and at the polls in November."

According to SAVE spokesman Philip W. Cook, "H.R. 4970 certainly is not a perfect bill. Still, passage of the House measure is a victory for victims who have been refused service in the past. It removes most sex discriminatory language. It is also a victory for taxpayers who are tired of the ongoing reports of waste and fraud."

SAVE thanks the many organizations and individuals who have supported VAWA reform efforts. SAVE will continue to work for ways to reform and strengthen the Violence Against Women Act:here.

Stop Abusive and Violent Environments is a victim-advocacy organization working for evidence-based solutions to partner abuse:
www.saveservices.org

Let's give ourselves a pat on the back and a high five. We did it. We stood up to big feminism and won. There is one thing I want to touch on:

Following passage of the bill, a number of established domestic violence organizations have reacted with anger and implied threats. The National Task Force to End Sexual and Domestic Violence Against Women called the bill "dangerous." The National Organization for Women charged that Representatives who voted for the bill "will be judged in the public arena and at the polls in November."

So will we. We men are going to remember who was on our side and who our enemies were. We will reward our friends by re-electing them and we will punish our enemies by sending them back to the private sector. That also includes a President who threatens to veto HR 4970. Count on it.

Stripper lures man to his death

Luerissie Ashley Ross

Where have we seen this before? Oh yeah, here it is:

I knew I've seen those tears somewhere else. Anyway on with the article:

This Pocahontas is no princess.

Cops are searching for Luerissie Ashley Ross, a 20-year-old stripper known as "Pocahontas," after she allegedly lured two victims to her home in separate incidents, set them up to be robbed, and then had them shot.

During the most recent incident in February, one of the victims, Budrohoe Briscoe, was killed in Texas, the Houston Chronicle reported.

Ross has been charged with capital murder and aggravated robbery in that case.

Court documents obtained by KHOU allege that Ross befriended Briscoe and invited him to her Houston apartment.

Briscoe picked up his cousin at the airport on Feb. 17 and reportedly asked him to "come meet 'Pocahontas'." The pair arrived at 2 a.m. and the cousin stayed in the car while Briscoe walked up to the stripper's courtyard. The cousin reportedly watched two men approach Briscoe and shoot him.

Briscoe died at the hospital days later, leaving behind seven children.

Officers connected Ross to the murder when one of Briscoe's relatives told them that "Pocahontas" was a dancer at the Ice Cream Castle nightclub.

The ensuing investigation also reportedly revealed evidence that Ross pulled the same trick on Dec. 30, in the same apartment complex. She's accused of meeting an unidentified man there to rob him. Her boyfriend, Kevin Johnson, allegedly shot the man, but he survived.

Ross, who has allegedly admitted to her crimes, has been free on bail since April 29. Cops haven't been able to find her.

Source:click here

WTF??? They let her post bail after she confessed to being an accessory to murder. WTF is that? That is the stupidest thing ever. One man is dead and another is hospitalized fighting for his life thanks to this bitch and they let her post bail? I always heard that Texas is a man's state. If that is the case then I guess the "man" in this case is now a postop because they are looking real flat down the front.

Let's tell Congress about HR 4970

From SAVE:

Like I told you last week, in politics, some people will say anything to win. I know this, but I'm still floored by all of the misinformation being published about HR4970. Maybe they are blindly believing members of the domestic violence industry.

Recent fundraising emails from major VAWA-funded organizations are the worst offenders. Even though the GAO and the DOJ found misuse of funds and fraud, these organizations are fighting against accountability. And they're doing this by misrepresenting how HR4970 will affect the LGBT community.

What they don't say, is that HR4970 is the only VAWA that removes all discrimination, the only VAWA that allows service providers to open shelters for men who are abused (40% of all injured victims!). If we, as a society, are going to claim to want to help every victim, shouldn't that include heterosexual men?

Let's not let them get away with this smoke and mirrors trick.

So, whether you want abused men to have services, or whether you want your tax dollars spent correctly, please contact your Representative and ask them to vote YES on HR4970.

Please call the Capitol Hill Switchboard: 202.224.3121. Tell the operator your zip code and ask to be connected to your Representative's office. Or find their phone number here.

Tell your Representative to vote YES on HR 4970.

We can do this! You, me, and all of our friends. Share this e-lert with your social media network today!

Feminists joke about
roasting babies

Trendy magazine's online political forum goes south on abortion Published: 01/23/2003 at 1:00 AM

“Roast baby?” “Baby margaritas?” “Bloody baby marys?” These are the sassy intrigues of participants in a discussion about abortion on the website of an international feminist magazine.

Bust magazine styles itself as a hip “girl” resource with a website that offers a “lounge,” or discussion forum.

A WND reader who has contributed for about three years to a politics forum on the site, called “As the World Turns,” said he recently has become “absolutely shocked by the statements I’ve read there, of feminists so jaded that they are freely joking about eating dead babies, and of the many ways that they could cook up their own abortions and dine on them.”

Earlier this month, a contributor who goes by “isobel123,” wrote that “the problem with adoption is, we really enjoy killing babies and would hate to have to miss out on that. We love squishing their little baby heads and watching their little baby brains come out their little baby eyesockets as their little chubby baby arms writhe helplessly in little chubby baby pain.”

Last Thursday, “charliebaby,” in response to a previous post, wrote “your roast baby sounds like a wonderful thanksgiving/christmas dinner. mmmmmmmm….. ”

“Lilacwhine,” on Jan. 15, wrote of sipping a martini and twirling “the dead baby around in it.”

“Charliebaby” responded that “of course there are baby margeritas! [sic] but you really must try the bloody baby marys!”

“It’s a weakness we feminists have, us and our baby killing,” wrote “dinaofdoom.”

A poster called “angstgrrl” offered a poem:

“I kill children
I love to see them die
I kill children
And make their mamas cry
Crush ‘em under my car
I wanna hear them scream
Feed ‘em poison candy

To spoil their Halloween

So your’re in the kids’ ward
You’re in there cos you’re ill
How about some Pavulon
So I can see you chill

Time to hit the scool bus
I think I’ll shoot the tires
Offer them a helping hand
Of open telephone wires”

A review of Bust’s quarterly print publication on Epinions.com, praising its “professional quality” and “amazing content,” said it’s what “MS magazine was supposed to be.”

“With the edginess and energy of a home-grown ‘zine, but the look and readability of a mainstream magazine, Bust does a great job of capturing what modern young women are thinking and caring about,” the reviewer said.

Another Epinions reviewer said, “In an effort to make feminism appeal to young women, Bust Magazine has unknowingly fallen into the same trap that the likes of every young women’s magazine today has fallen into, with the exception of B*tch Magazine. From cover to cover, profanity runs rampant, and hypersexuality is a common theme. Although feminism promotes sexuality, and the right to say what you need to, Bust has over used this aspect to appeal to a mainstream audience.”

If there is anything that either makes you speechless or if you do say something chances are it's going to be WTF??? This is some fucking insane shit and it is very telling of women. No wonder they oppose adoption they get off on killing infants. That is fucking disturbing.

Support the amendment to NDAA

From Demand Progress:

NDAA Vote Next Week: End Indefinite Detention!

We can put an end to a shocking assault on our civil liberties: Last year's National Defense Authorization Act included language that could allow the military to detain civilian suspects INDEFINITELY without charge or trial.

This year's NDAA could come up for a vote as soon as next week and we have a prime opportunity to reverse this travesty of justice.

Congressmen Adam Smith and Justin Amash will put forth an amendment to make it clear that the military does not have the power to arrest and indefinitely detain civilians without charging or trying them. Please urge your lawmakers to support their efforts and help us spread word far and wide.

Source:click here

The military arresting people is business as usual in some countries. Perhaps that explains why a lot of people want to get out of those countries too. America has always been under civilian rule with the Constitution guaranteeing that everyone's rights will be respected. Under NDAA you won't have that. You'll have the military doing what it wants. If that sounds like a bad deal to you then contact your Congressperson and tell them to support this amendment to NDAA. If you value your freedom now would be a good time to send that email. Do it now.

Beware of women using tactics to throw us off

When I think of women like this I think of Emma and how she played everyone except me. I pointing to Emma in the link not FS or ACLAF because that feud is over so leave it alone. But we can see what the MRA/MGTOW guy in the video was saying is that women are changing their tactics. Women will try to manipulate you but you can't let that happen. They are trying to derail the MRM,we can't let them do that. Onward we fight.

Let's make Zoe Lofgren apologize for her remarks about SAVE

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA)

From SAVE services:

I'm learning that politics is a lot like sales; people will say what they need to say to close the deal. Yesterday, that practice hit a little too close to home.

During the May 8, 2012 mark-up of the House Judiciary Committee, Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) made unfounded, scurrilous, and false statements regarding Stop Abusive and Violent Environments and Natasha Spivack, a member of the SAVE Board of Directors. See: here

SAVE, who are not a group of "apologists for abusers," has demanded that Rep. Lofgren retract her remarks about SAVE, issue an apology to Natasha, and begin to work for ways to stop false allegations of domestic violence. As of this writing SAVE has not received a reply, so we're asking for your help.

Call Rep. Lofgren (202) 225-3072 and repeat the same demand: Retract your remarks about Stop Abusive and Violent. Environments (SAVE) Issue an apology to Natasha Spivack.

Work for ways to stop false allegations of domestic violenc For our Natasha, and for every single falsely accused person who is being denied by the current system, please call.

We may be hitting a nerve. Lofgren has been described as a feminist and like most feminists they are not used to being stood up to and like most bullies they don't like it. Let's contact her office and demand she apologize to those she has offended with her callous words. Let's do it right away.

Please call Representative Steve King (R-IA) and thank him for mentioning male victims of abuse during the HR4970 mark-up this morning. 202.225.4426

Everyone call. Show them we are out here watching them!!!!

You can also email your representative. Since Steve King did stand up for us he does deserve our gratitude so when writing to him thank him for standing up for male victims. Elections are coming up and now would be a good time to remember our friends like Steve King by reelecting them. As far as our enemies go:send them back to the private sector with the label "anti-male bigot" attached to them.

You may also want to contact Rep. Sandy Adams and thank her for drafting this bill. It's not perfect but it beats Biden's version.

Earl gets his day in court

Canadian MRA Earl Silverman gets his day in court. Let's wish him the best of luck.

Well it is now set; I get a judge and jury. This means I can call anyone to the court room as a witness.

As Stephen Harper has provided me with a letter of support for my work in domestic violence I will be calling him. This court case will cover shared parenting, domestic violence and divorce issues; this is the objective.

For those who do not know Stephen Harper is the Prime Minister of Canada. To have someone with that title on your side really speaks volumes and hopefully it is enough to sway the jury to side with Earl. Not just for him but for all Canadian men.

Femafascism-Canadian style

As you may know Canadian MRA Earl Silverman is taking on the Canadian human rights commissions for being misandric. Earl's story is here and here. Now don't get the idea that Canada is going to become an MRA paradise anytime soon. Not when you look at this and the following:

To day I will be in court setting a date for a jury trial [charges are indictable] on the charges of extortion and threatening; both bogus and if brought to someone else the charges would be dropped.

The is the system eliminating dissent; jail them and send them to the gulag...

I am calling this system abuse the RPG; the Rosa Parks Gambit; I will not sit in the back of the bus because I am a man!!! I hope this abuse can become a national rally point; if I am in jail who will take over, who will speak out, but most important; WHAT DOES THIS SAY ABOUT THE COUNTRY WE LIVE IN????????????????????????

May 16 I will before the Appeals Court of Alberta pertaining to the abuse of the system against the hr complaint.

The MASH*4077 needs some cash to stay alive; this is the only shelter in Canada and needs Canadian involvement. We need your support and cash.

I personally need some support with the criminal court matters.

Do something and help.

If the voices of Canadian MRA's are silenced then it is up to us in other countries to voice our concerns about how our Canadian brethren are being treated and to protest the injustice and oppression they are suffering. We should condemn the Canadian government for their oppression against one man that would dare to stand up to them. But that's the thing: It is not one man but all men and a lot of MRA's in other countries are watching what will be the results of that brave man seeking justice from his government. END THE UNJUST PERSECUTION OF EARL SILVERMAN !!!

Tell the House to vote yes on HR 4970

From SAVE services:

After careful examination of both House versions of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), we find HR 4970 the better choice.

HR 4970 puts victims first, with stronger fiscal accountability.

HR 4970 includes reform to curb VAWA immigration fraud.

HR 4970 is gender inclusive, (except Title IX, re: Indian women)

Please call the Capitol Hill Switchboard: 202.224.3121.

The U.S. Senate race in California

From one of my followers:

I've been vetting the Republicans running for U.S. Senate from California. They are Orly Taitz,Elizebeth Emken,Robert Lauten,Dan Hughes,Dirk Allen Konopik,Rogelio T. Gloria and Al Ramirez.

The following was emailed to each of them:

I am a men's rights activist or MRA and I advocate for men's issues and concerns. I was just at your website and I was wondering where you stand on issues that effect men. For instance:

1. When men and women are arrested for the same crime the man receives a harsher sentence than the woman or if she has teamed up with a man she can play the victim and testify against him even though they are equals. Not only that but when the death penalty is on the table women are spared the death penalty while men are not. Also women's prisons are much nicer than men's prisons. Does this sound fair to you? It doesn't to us.

2. Only men are required to sign up for selective service while women are exempt. So men are the only ones who may have to die to get benefits that women get without any obligations. Does this sound fair to you? It doesn't to us.

3. In the military the fitness requirements are lower for women than for men. Also women have it easier at the men's expense. Does this sound fair to you? It doesn't to us.

4. When it comes to anti-male laws such as VAWA only men are arrested and prosecuted while female batterers go free, also male victims are ignored. Does this sound fair to you? It doesn't to us.

The following is a list of men's rights websites:

My correspondence with Orly Taitz:

I agree with you that we do not have equality. I believe in full equality. The only area, where I would make an exception, is excluding from the military draft (if it ever happens) women with young children. Aside from that one area I believe in full equality. I wonder, what answers did you get from other candidates?

I then responded with: I've read stories about how women in the military got pregnant to get out of combat or other hazardous duty then when they are out of jeopardy they have an abortion. I also said the fathers can take care of the child(ren) while the mother is deployed.

I did not hear about women deliberately geting pregnant to get out of combat and then having an abortion, I will need to look into this. at any rate I believe in equality of rights. I am an attorney and I know that often men are not treated fairly by the family courts, this should not be happening

I thanked her for her input about the family courts.

you should get in touch with the talk show host Rick Baker, he advertises on the web site for my foundation OrlyTaitzESQ.com from what I recall he is active on the father's rights issues i should have his info on that, but in some 100,000 e-mails it will be hard for me to find

To email Orly Taitz: orly.taitz@gmail.com
Orly Taitz's website: click here

Next up is Dirk Allen Konopik:

Thank you for contacting our U.S. Senate campaign. I am in agreement pertaining to your concern that all American citizens, whether men and women, should receive equitable legal treatment when crimes are committed. As for the differing military physical requirements between men and women, it is due to naturally inherent physiological differences. Regarding the selective service, war is a terrible event that sometimes must occur. While I would wish for none to have to fight wars, the reality is, as long as there are individuals who desire power, there must be those in America that will defend our liberties from aggressors.

As to why men are mandated to sign up for the selective service and women are not is due to a plethora of issues. Yet, the practice is grounded in the fact that every standing military in the history of the world has been made up predominantly of men, due to the greater physiological capability to carry out soldiering duties such as marching long distances while carrying a great amount of weight.

That being said, I hope I have addressed your questions to a degree that is acceptable to you. I appreciate your desire to stand for the equitable treatment of the different genders. Should you have any additional questions, comments, and/or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me. God bless you and yours.

Very Respectfully,

Dirk Allen Konopik
Christian, Veteran, American
2012 Republican U.S. Senate Candidate for CA
Direct Line: 909-293-9225
website

email address: campaign@konopikforca2012.com

Next is Al Ramirez:

I can see your points on items 1 and 4. As a US Senator we can make sure the judges we approve for appointing to federal benches get this message. Thanks for the question.
email address: 2012@alramirez.com
website: click here

Elizebeth Emken,Dan Hughes,Robert Lauten and Rogelio T. Gloria did not respond. If these four are going to take the men's rights movement in the light of ridicule then they are indeed getting some very bad advice.

Indeed they are bro and it may come back to bite them in the ass. The MRM is growing and for politicians to ignore it is political suicide. Perhaps these four will find that out. Thanks for taking the time to vet your candidates.

Let's make sure probable cause arrest is included in VAWA

From SAVE services:

Democrats and Republicans in the House have each introduced their own versions of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). While we applaud some improvements, there is still work to be done.

Persons accused of domestic violence deserve their due process. And they certainly don't get that with mandatory arrest. Unfortunately, it was not removed from VAWA, by either side.

One in six Americans know someone who has been falsely accused of domestic violence.

During a recent trip to Capitol Hill, I happened to meet three different legislative staffers who had a friend or loved one who had been falsely accused. They know...but they need to hear from you.

Call your Representatives in Congress and demand that VAWA require probable-cause evidence for domestic violence arrests.

Call the Capitol Hill Switchboard: 202-224-3121

Or Find your Representatives by zip code: click here

We have very little time to make a very big difference in the lives of the future falsely accused.

So get calling! Please!

teri

Teri Stoddard, Program Director
Stop Abusive and Violent Environments
www.saveservices.org

Probable cause is good thing to have encoded into law for without it the cops could arrest anyone they didn't like so including it in VAWA would be a good thing. If you feel the same way then by all means call and/or email your Congressional Representative.

It may also help to contact the Speaker of the House John Boehner: click here

Also contact House Majority Leader Eric Cantor:click here

Contacting them in addition to your Representative helps the cause so it would be really great if you did.
